Security has been beefed up across Delhi University (DU) as it goes to polls on September 9. Authorities are taking no chances after the bomb blasts outside Delhi High Court.

About 50 colleges under DU will be taking part in the polls to elect a new student union. Polling will take place between 8.30 am and 12.30 pm for day colleges and from 3 pm to 7 pm for evening colleges.

Now, celebrities have decided to jump on to the bandwagon, courtesy of National Students’ Union of India (NSUI). Reports stated that Bollywood actress Mahima Chaudhry was spotted on campus on September 7.

Twitter is abuzz with celebrity opinions on the elections.
