Mumbai University has increased the intake for professional courses after many applications poured in from colleges across the city.
Students complaining about non-availability of seats can now be relieved as the university is now increasing the number of seats per batch for professional graduation and post graduation courses.
From the past two years, there has been a constant increase in demand for admissions to professional courses. Following this, many city colleges had expressed that they'd want to increase the intake capacity from this year onwards. Mumbai University consequently recieved many applications requesting increase in number of seats.
When the university recieved applications from more than 70 colleges, the university made this decision.
